Account Activation
You must have your own account registered and activated to access our booking pages. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you complete activation. We have demonstrated this using the mobile site but the desktop site follows the same process. App instructions are at the bottom of the page. Please note - clicking 'Request Permission' will not give you access - this is a default system from our website hosts that we unfortunately cannot disable.​​

On the home page, click the avatar icon beside the shopping cart.

Choose an email and password for your account. Make sure you check your inbox (and spam folder) for a verify link if required once you confirm these.

Once your email is verified, hit the avatar logo and use your new details to log in. Clicking the avatar again will bring up a menu. Head to My Account.

Scroll down to Account Activation and add your full name. Save and then log out of your account by clicking the avatar icon.

Once your account is activated, we recommend downloading our booking app - download Spaces by Wix from your app store and follow the steps below. Get up to speed by reading through the session information page and other pages listed in the Hub. If you still have questions please don't hesitate to get in touch via chat, email, or socials.
Log back in and head back to My Account. You'll see a blue basic permissions badge below your display name if you've done everything right. This may not show right away - if it hasn't appeared in 10 minutes send us a message, citing error code 'HALP!'
App
If you have already activated an account on the website, you can skip a lot of the steps below if you use the same details when logging into the app. Simply search Budminton Edinburgh and click to join.
If starting your account creation via the app, download Spaces by Wix and create an account there before searching for and joining Budminton Edinburgh. It's important you add your name to this account at this stage or you app permissions will not be added when you join Budminton.




Now you can go back to the homepage, search for Budminton, and join it. If you've done it right, a badge will be awarded after a few moments on the Budminton Edinburgh homepage, as shown below.




Troubleshooting:
Adding your name to you account is critical - we want to know who to look out for when you attend for the first time! Accounts without a name will not be activated.
Joining Budminton before adding your name to your Spaces account may not grant your booking permissions - try clicking leave site on app (top right corner menu) and join again after your Spaces account it set up.
Even if you've done everything correctly, it sometimes takes a bit longer for your permissions to be added. Try logging in and out and giving it at least 10 minutes before contacting us for help, citing error code 'HALP!'​
